The unthinkable has happened, and our talisman will no longer wear the boots. For anyone who hasn’t heard (which seems unlikely at this point), Matthew Richardson has succumbed to injury and announced his retirement.
Little to say – but what a great run it’s been. We love you Richo.

One of the best ever to pull on a jumper…
I also like his work on TV, not boring like so many others.

I have great respect for him after he told Sam Newman he could not make fun of a certain couple who got married. He was serious, and made Sam look like the selfish nob that he is.

Yeah he was a true character. I reckon he’ll do well in the media.
BTW the ad that came up on the bottom of the bloglines feed was advertising Carlton team kits.
