…please Tiges – let it be this one. One of the few joys of following the mighty Tigers was that every couple of years the yeller and black got up to upset the finals plans of the filthy Blues. The opportunity is there, the motive couldn’t be more obvious: revenge for that game should be mixing with a general hatred for Carlton.
If we could win this week, the season is no longer a complete waste.

Don’t get me wrong, it would still make for a bitterly disappointing season. But if it turns out that I can know Carlton are coming just a little bit slower because of the Tiges, that’ll be a fond memory.
