Round 10 vs Sydney - Oh, Dear

Posted on June 4, 2008 | Category: Match Reports

The Game

A team who is about 2 or 3 goals better than us, beat us by more than 10 goals. No tackling, no tigers.

The Good

Cotchin. Deledio. Schulz played OK. Richo put in once again, and got plenty of marks. Chris Newman was strong off half back. That’s probably all

The Bad

We didn’t do any of the things that had us looking like an in form side. It’s depressing that the difference between this side and the side that was giving Geelong and the Doggies a run for their money is pretty much just a mental one. Poor skills continue to haunt the boys in yeller an’ black, and it’s about time we actually did something about that.

The Votes

3 - Brett Deledio

2 - Chris Newman

1 - Trent Cotchin

The Final Word

It took a long time for me to calm down enough to put this together. The Tigers once more stand at an important crossroad: this can be an aberration, with a big performance against the crows this week. Or it could be a very bad start to a worse “rest of the season”.
