Good news as the Tiges have got the biggest piece of the pie in State Government cash for redevelopment of AFL training grounds – $2.5 million of the $10.5 million going. (Source: RealFooty – AFL teams win cash boost for footy grounds)
It looks like this is in addition to the 6 million (2 from state, 2 from federal, 2 from local) already pledged by government. Which has to mean that it’s only a matter of time before Punt Road starts being back in line with the facilities of the glamor clubs.
